Costa Rica airlines offer you convenience and comfort while you travel to and around the country. NatureAir flies to sixteen Costa Rica airports and has daily service from San Jose. Its airlines to Costa Rica during the high season are comparable to other small Costa Rica airlines, at around $150 for a round trip ticket. This company has a small fleet of only two planes, so advance reservations are highly recommended. They offer sky tours, so you can cover lots of ground and make time to go on other Costa Rica tours.

 

ParadiseAir is one of the most trusted Costa Rica airlines that has served travelers, scientists, explorers, Non-governmental organization teams, and regular tourists as well. December through April is the high season, so flights to Costa Rica are more expensive during these months. It is also recommended you make reservations well in advance if you'd like to travel during these times of the year. This airline flies to many of the major Costa Rica airports such as Arenal and tickets are around $150 dollars round trip from the capitol of San Jose.

 

Sansa is another domestic Costa Rica airline that services the top 16 destinations as well. Aside from passenger flights, they have cargo flights at $4 per pound as well as courier services. They have a fleet of 43 well maintained aircraft and is one of the most reliable and well-known companies servicing Costa Rica airports.

 

Major international airlines also have flights to Costa Rica destinations as well, many from North America. Flights usually don't take more than 3 and-a-half hours, no matter what part of the US you are coming from. Sam, Varig, Sasha, Taca, KLM, Iberia, Mexicana,Continental, and American Flights all stop at the international Costa Rica airports, like the main one, which is only 20 minutes outside San Jose, Juan Santamaria International Airport.
