Mazatlan Hotels

Mazatlan Hotels

Mazatlan is a family friendly beach town known for its inexpensive all inclusive resorts and acres of well-manicured golf courses. Some people go on a Mazatlan vacation to go fly fishing, while others enjoy relaxing on some of the best beaches in Mexico and enjoying the many options the city has for dining, such as fresh seafood restaurants. There are several cheap hotels in Mazatlan to choose from as well as more upscale Mazatlan hotels and Mexico beach rentals. No matter what you choose for Mazatlan lodging, you'll most likely be within walking distance of the beach.

The El Ranch Hotel and Beach Resort is one option for Mazatlan lodging that offers a good value and is relatively large compared to other Mazatlan hotels. The hotel is located right on the beach and also offers a pool and a spacious garden. The hotel’s two room suites fit up to six people and are outfitted with a fully-stocked kitchen, making the El Ranch Hotel and Beach resort a very family-friendly accommodation in Mazatlan. Each one of the rooms takes up two levels and has a commanding view of the ocean, pool, or garden. The nightly room rate includes a free pickup from the airport and daily continental breakfast.

Another option for Mazatlan lodging is the Hotel Faro Mazatlan. Located right on a rugged cliff overlooking the ocean, this accommodation in Mazatlan offers all inclusive packages that include meals, tours, and activities in addition to standard rooms. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, a minibar, and luxury bedding. There are also two restaurants and a lobby bar in the hotel. If you’re in the mood for some exercise, the hotel has a full-service gym with free weights and cardio machines as well as a heated outdoor pool and two tennis courts. The hotel also has a business center with computers, printers, and fax machines.

The Pueblo Bonito hotel has been a favorite accommodation in Mazatlan for several years. There are so many things to do at the hotel, from swimming in one of two outdoor pools, relaxing in the whirlpool or sauna, or enjoying fresh Mexican cuisine at one of three restaurants. Each room is decorated with traditional tiled floors and arched windows, giving it a traditional Mexican feel. The lush grounds of the hotel, which are landscaped by a waterfalls and thatched roof palapas in front of the beach, are enjoyed by roaming peacocks and flamingos. The white sand beach is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail from the hotel bar or do some swimming or snorkeling. The Pueblo Bonito, along with most other Mazatlan hotels, can also help you arrange tours of the Mazatlan area as well as fishing expeditions or scuba diving lessons.

Once you've found Mazatlan lodging, it's time to take advantage of all the things to do in the area. Beer lovers can take a tour of the Pacifico brewery, one of the biggest breweries in Mexico. The brewery offers the chance to sample unique brews that can only be found in Mexico and will provide a behind the scenes look at the beer manufacturing process.

Mazatlan is also a great place to go whale watching. From January through mid-April, thousands of gray whales settle near the shore of Mazatlan for the winter. In addition to gray whales, you may see an occasional humpback or blue whale. Another place to see marine life is the Mazatlan Aquarium. The aquarium is home to hundreds of species of fish, turtles, seals, and other marine life that is native to Mexico. You can also watch a sea lion show several times a day.

With so many hotels and attractions in the area, it's no wonder that Mazatlan is so popular for tours of Mexico and Mexico vacations.
