city, festivals and celebrations of all kinds happen annually.

Boston Beer Festival is held in mid-June and is probably one of the most loved festivals in the city. It’s no wonder why! Held at the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts the beer festival is sponsored by the Beer Advocate who’s logo is “Respect Beer” and their mission is “Drink Beer!”. The Boston Beer Festival features a distinctive line-up of craft breweries from New England as well as from around the nation. Bostonians and the many visitors should buy tickets in advance as attendance is limited. The Boston Beer Festival runs for two nights and features numerous breweries each year. Event tickets are limited for each night to provide a “relaxed vibe”. Prices are roughly $40 for each session but check before buying. Buy tickets well in advance to secure your spot in this exciting beer-lovers festival. This year the Boston Beer Festival features over 125 tasty varieties of America’s best craft beers from a huge variety of breweries.
The Boston Wine Festival is held annually from January through April and is one of the nations longest running wine festivals.. The Boston Wine Festival has a grand opening the first night and a gala closing on the last. With the exception of some special events, the Boston Wine Festival features a different winery every single day from January until April with a hosted dinner almost every evening! The Boston Wine festival kicks off with The Battle of the Cabernets which is a festival tradition and favorite event in which a panel of experts are led through a blind tasting of various cabernets. Ticket prices vary depending on what events are attended and tickets can be requested online through the Boston Wine Festival website.
The annual Independent Film Festival Boston hosts normally happens at the end of April. With over 100 screenings, panel discussions and weekend parties there’s a lot to do at the Independent Film Festival Boston. The festival screenings and events are spread around Boston, Cambridge and Sommerville. Thousands of films are watched by the programmers to select the final list.
