can drop significantly and become quite cold although
the days are fairly warm and mild.
Marthas Vineyard Family Campground is the only of Massachusetts
campgrounds in the area and located under 2 miles from
the ferry terminal. The ferry terminal is connected to
the campground by the Island’s shuttle bus and the
buses run every 30 minutes .The campground is an accessible
and affordable option making it an attractive to many
people visiting The Vineyard. Ample wooded sites complete
with fireplaces, picnic tables and hookups for tents and
RV’s. There are modern restrooms with hot showers,
a recreation hall, playground and Laundromat all located
within this Massachusetts campgrounds vicinity. There
are many biking trails, one-of-a-kind shops, golf
courses, miles of secluded beaches and excellent fishing
all accessible from this campground. Based upon two people,
the site rates start at $46.00 and include water and electric.
Additional people on the site are an extra $15.00 per
