Flights to Ohio

Flights to Ohio can be found in a number of ways. The traditional travel agent method seems to be getting dated as more and more people look for their own flights online. When looking for flights to Ohio there are many deals and packages going around.

These days more and more no-fills affordable airlines, fashioned after airlines such as Ryanair and others like it in Europe, are popping up all around the U.S. Recently added to the list is ExpressJet, offering flights to less major cities while better known carriers providing low fares are beginning to serve major airports.

Many people search for an inexpensive Cleveland flight for a visit to the many attractions in the city. Cleveland’s Hopkins International Airport is the biggest airport in Ohio state and is nine miles form the city. Many modes of ground transportation are offered for getting there and away such as taxis, shuttles, limousines, buses and rental cars.

The Cleveland airport is a major center for ExpressJet and Continental Airlines and these are where good deals can be found for a Cleveland flight. Save money by using the Cleveland airport Park N’ Fly online. If feeling famished upon arrival or before departure the Cleveland airport has more than 20 restaurants and 15 shops for visitors to choose from.

When looking for an Ohio flight it’s good to know about the other airports in Ohio that may be closer to where you want to go. East of Cleveland there is the Akron Canton Airport which is in close proximity to Lake Erie where many people choose to stay at a lakeside Ohio resort. Lying roughly ten miles outside each city this airport offers a smaller alternative to the Cleveland airport. Trade a Cleveland flight for one that lands here and find a much more relaxing atmosphere upon arrival. AirTran Airways is the largest carrier serving flights to Ohio at Akron Canton. When in Canton don’t miss the Pro Football Hall of Fame!

If looking for Ohio plane tickets from Canada look for hotels, car and/or hotel packages to lower the cost of the amenities you’ll need. A flight to Columbus out of Toronto does range depending on the time of year but expect to pay around $400.00 for a return trip during the summer. Spring and fall are great times to travel and more deals can be found. Demand for Ohio plane tickets rises dramatically in the summer months so book well ahead and do careful research before purchasing a ticket.

Once you’re Ohio flight lands Ohio is your oyster! Visit great attractions in Cleveland such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or Terminal Tower. Enjoy a concert at Powers Auditorium in Youngstown or take in some back-to-basics at one of the beautiful Ohio state parks for a great camping adventure.
